Virtual – Provided via ZOOM: Participants will require a tablet or computer with camera and audio, to participate in the ZOOM workshop.
This 7 week workshop runs 2 times a week, starting on Monday, October 16th (no class October 18th), & then on Mondays & Wednesdays from October 23rd to November 29th, 2023, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
It will teach leaders to successfully co-lead the six-week Chronic Disease Workshop class series, using the new Chronic Disease 2nd edition book.
The virtual training program includes:
- Scripted curriculum for people with chronic diseases.
- Intensive, experiential, and interactive training provided by a team of certified CDSMP Master Trainers
- Learning and practicing group leadership and facilitation skills
- Downloads used in chronic disease & diabetes classes
Certified CDSMP Master Trainers will conduct the class leader training.
Class leaders will be fully prepared to co-lead Chronic Disease classes to groups of up to 15 members.
